Chris Reed
Chris Reed was a successful pick for the Peewee NFL draft in 1991, but he blew it by losing his temper and knocking his coach out. This experience left him bitter and disillusioned, which was when he decided to become an actor. Long hired Reed and his brother Ed after a stint in the dorms of NIU. "We went out with these water balloons to hit these stoners toking up," Reed recalled, "and when we had to fight off some other guys who wanted the balloons, I was the one who said, 'Hey, uh, don't...take that.' He thought I'd be a good tough guy."
Reed currently lives in Downer's Grove and is working on a book, Ten Ways to Change Your Life and Nine Ways to Screw It Up Again.
