This movie kind of reminded me of Total Recall crossed with The Fugitive. It's set in futuristic Earth where we are at war with a distant planet by the name of Alpha Centauri. The Earth is now protected by an electro-magnetic dome to prevent any attack or invasion from the aggressive Alpha Centaurians and humans are building new weapons to combat the alien foe. Sounds interesting right? I thought so too... but instead, the basic plotline follows Gary Sinise's character as he is being pursued by the government because they believe he is an Alpha Centurian assassin. They could have done a whole lot better with this movie if they would have focused more on the war with the aliens. Not a good movie overall because about 15 minutes into the movie anyone would be able to guess what the inevitable plot twist would be. You could see it coming a mile away, so what is suppose to be the big surprise at the end just seems anti-climactic. We simply get to watch Gary Sinise being chased for the whole movie which wouldn't be so bad if we hadn't already guessed how it was going to end up.
